Hi Ray

I try and sell PUTS about 6 months to a year out on stuff I own that I would want to own more of at prices I am willing to buy more of. Ideally I already own at least 500 or better yet more than 1000 shares already (one option contract is 100 sh)

If it gets put to me I wanted to buy more, if it doesn't I got a premium for holding cash.

Some things don't have enough volatility to make it worth selling PUTS.

I also sometimes sell calls at prices I am willing to sell.
