great review, here is my take on the show........

..

love the 80's theme! (every time)

so, david hassselhoff- ummm... love him as a person, loved his tv show, hated the singing and still do, but he looked great. so, what can you say?

"boy george" mentored the kids..............

the kids all sang one of his songs and it was awful as a group, but they dont know it so, its like you and me are singing the 40's or so, i guess? but i know that stuff, so, who knows. :-) (and i just turned 51 today, being officially march 26)

here we go...

top 9-

1- daniel- i agree, he is not good, but cute, so, its not about singing, its about the "cute" factor.

2- quintin- ok but rushed..

3- joey (from my old stomping grounds in Va) hated it... not good this week, just as she was getting better. oh well.

4- tyanna- she took on a Whitney Houston song.. better than some of her songs but still just ok imo. the band music was odd, hard to sing to.

5- jax- get rid of the "adell" dialect, like everyone does now days. hated her song tonight.

6- nick- bombed before, still makes those weird faces when he sings, but was wayyyy better this week by far.

7- clark is my fav. he disregarded boy george's suggestion to lower the key, and knocked it out of the park, so beautiful

8- qassim- i loved how ne fumbled around with the "rock'em sock'em robots" cause it reminded me of a my (late) mom telling the story about how, when was like 10 maybe, i wanted that and got it and my brothers and friends and i had a blast "knocking their blocks off" if you recall that ad. :-) but he sang awful, sorry .. just yucky.

9- rayvon- the band overpowered him, and was off and robotic.

this is the worst idol of all time, im sure of that, but kelly clarkson comes on next week tey said.

dont be shocked when you see her, she has gained a lot of weight but she struggled with that from day one.

My Take on the Show

First of all the finally got rid of Daniel. In my opinion he should of went weeks ago, and he was brutal again last night as he still got to sing with the new format. I'll give him a D- and say I'm being nice.

1) Nick-Okay performance, a number of issues in that vocal. Was Okay.

Grade C

2) JAX-I thought the performance was pretty good, outside of the part that she went off vocally for a second their when she got up. Other then that I liked it.

Grade B

3) Tyanna-Okay Performance, also had a number of issues in the vocal as well. Was very similar to nice. Had a few moments, but for the most part had some issues. I also thought this performance was missing something as well.

Grade C-

4) Joey- The question is do you like that arrangement. I actually did. I thought it was solid in everyway.

Grade B

5) Quentin- I thought it was a very good performance, in fact this was my favorite performance at this point of the night.

Grade B+

6) Qaasim- That wasn't very good lots of vocal issues throughout the song, and I'm being nice. that was rough.

Grade D

7) Clark- What a shock, he was the best again out of the bunch. This wasn't even my favorite performance by him, doesn't matter he is just really good.

Grade A-

The daniel went.

9) Rayvon- Had some vocal issues in there, but sang okay. didn't feel much either. Just okay.
