So why don't you email Mr. Bleckman and ask him if he said this.

Mr. Leinwand, GTE lawyer, was meeting with the SEC in New York about GTE's share price being manipulated...YESTERDAY MORNING...when the "clerical error" happened...

Believe me, I would love to see GTE meeting with the SEC about manipulation of the share price. I believe there is definately illegal manipulatioin going on, but that is only my opinion. If GTE was meeting with the SEC that would indicate they have solid proof which would be great.

You can ignore me if it upsets you that I question a post and get a response from Mr. Bleckman that indicates he never made the statement.

sanswired, that's the stance i'm taking from now on...anything that's passed on to me stays with me...too bad there are always those that have to twist and turn everything they're told...and those who need to verify every bit of info they see...glad i'm not that anal...it wasn't a question of me receiving inside information...it wasn't anything worthy of GTE updating shareholders on...just something i found ironic, and thought i'd pass on...
