My understanding is that there is no limitation on selling the shares if I should want to. I am not going to lend them out just because I do not want to increase the negative pressure on the stock. It is the one thing that I can do to hold firm!

As I understand it - you can get them back whenever you want them. Schwab has approached me on the same thing, although a few weeks back.

Bear in mind, though, when you do lend them out, someone almost fully intends to short them - which will help bring down the share price.
