Here's another view of the environment Wave inhabits.

Until this changes, the argument for large-scale success betting on device security at Wave over surveillance by the NSA is likely to be weaker than it might be. Hard to swim against that current.

Whether one is deemed to have the "Wave bug", is optimistic or whatever is a subjective call. Anyone is entitled to their opinion. Facts are facts. The Wave sales dept. accomplished the single largest one order number of licenses sale in their history. 250k licenses for $2.3m is respectable by any ISV's standards and is as I said a step forward in implementing change in the company ie. wean off Dell bundling revenues and replace it with enterprise sales. Try as one might to trivialize the sale but it's a significant event.
