With Dell aboard, that 30% market share and $75 share price is already looking a lot closer, don't you think?

I'm glad I hung on to my core holdings. Dumped my trading shares to some panicked short AH for $36.45....

Think how the stock will jump when the anti-trust suit against Intel is settled.........

The contrarian in me says that we wind up with a black candle
tomorrow. In that it will gap up and close lower than where it
opened. There's your shorting opportunity. If it plays out that
way. Gaps are pretty tricky things and that's why I prefer
slow, steady moves in a stock instead of violent moves on LTBH.

If it is a moderate move and then it rises during the day, then
it could have legs for a few days. Put buyers for this month
are currently toast. I doubt that there were a lot of call
buyers. And if there are, the SEC might give them a call. This
thing has the smell of a leak if you look at the intraday charts
of AMD and the Nasdaq. Unfortunately this is pretty common in
big-cap techland.

I should give Dell a call in the morning and try to order an
Opteron server to see what they say.

you...

It could be an interesting trading opportunity if the stock goes up enough. What is the benefit of a larger chunk of the MP market compared to the loss AMD will have in other segments due to Core 2? IMO, the market still hasn't priced in the latter, so now might be the chance to buy some more puts. Question is, how many days will it take for this good news to get built in?

me...

Did you and Doug take singing lessons from the same teacher?

Yeah, let's hope NGA is close to what is expected or INTC is going to be very much out in the cold. I think I want more confirmation and I also want to see what AMD is going to do before I make any decisions.
