Root: We have just two weeks left in Q1. No significant sales, other than the legacy products of $2.3M to be distributed over a number of quarters.

Maybe you can put your money on what the CEO believes, but I think most prudent investors would rather see some results.

Q4 pretty much passed as expected, with the one deal. If Q1 2015 closes without any announcements, would that dampen your enthusiasm?

I think most Wave investors want to see deals coming in, not happy talk about the potential of them from the CEO.

After 26 years, I think Wave needs more than optimism and happy talk.

Personally, I find the optimism hard to grasp, considering our past. It sure looks and smells like more of the same--without the deals in hand bologna.

Thats more than a carrot. That is a man busting at the seams to tell us all what is going on. It can't be that there are two CEO's with the same propensity for ....... No, I think that with his military background BS is not his intention. Will it work out .... who knows. Does he believe it..100%. Three months. I put more of my money behind my beliefs this week. Hope the wife is not reading.

evening RoT. I'm a bit confused or misunderstand and hope you can help, seriously. This is toward the end of your Solms's Q4 CC quote: "In other words, we’re seeing a much higher percentage of them close in the two to three quarters as opposed to the three or four quarter part of that timeline." WE'RE SEEING.....THEM CLOSE. How do you take that? A larger % of newer opportunities are "CLOSING" faster. I read that as Solms's saying sales are completed/done/made. That's what confuses me, as they haven't been PR'd or 8K'd in Q1 nor shown up in Q4 Billings. What does he mean by closed? OR are these smaller sales that wouldn't be PR'd or 8K'ed? Can you straighten me out?

One cannot say that a statement is illusory without knowing the substance behind it.

It is not my intention to declare Solms a carrot dangler. Perhaps you are trying to entrap me into saying something silly? ;-) I don't know enough about him yet.

But his record of accuracy about the future is not altogether comforting either. He laid out goals for 2014 and missed them by a country mile.

So I won't be relying on his optimism either.

I will count any revenue that I see, however. In the usual way.

The nice thing about seeking evidence is you don't have to participate in the speculation. You just say let him perform. And if he does so, you acknowledge it.

Until then, the numbers tell their tale. There's no vindication to be won against a person who just counts actual income, I'm afraid.

It's nice to see you using the same definition of a word or two as the rest of us again, by the way.

Solms and Credibility

The problem is that Solms has not delivered anything to warrant trust in what he says. Am I wrong in that assessment?

So, until he does, he can say anything he wants, but it carries very little credibility.
