I think it went up because those in the know, know the R/S will allow for other financing options that will limit or completely remove the possibility of any further convertible hitting market again. Management has stated this in a previous PR:

Sources for a larger infusion of long-term growth capital have been identified, and ECIG is working with these investors to structure an agreement that will allow the Company to proceed with its global expansion strategy.

To facilitate obtaining the long-term financing that the Company is currently pursuing, ECIG intends to execute a reverse stock split, but this action does not dilute shareholders. However, it will be critical to provide the Company the essential resources to compete and to conclusively fix ECIG’s total capital structure, both of which are designed to drive substantial shareholder value.

I get what you're saying, and I agree 40% is pretty crazy (although I'm not complaining).. My take on the whole deal is that the PPS is already priced on the fact that dilution is going to happen.. There's no way around that other than BK.. So I suppose the big run is based on the A/S being denied, which nobody wanted approved.. 40% is still a pretty big run.. And I really think we'll gap more tomorrow, but after that happens, who knows what will transpire.. I think when the R/S does happen we'll get a pullback and I'll do what I can to time it right to pick the bottom then hold on..Famous last words, I know..

Clean balance sheet ,cash flow positive, shares in the hat
For m&a's and a 10 k follow by a 1q , poor shorty.

Yes that's true, the debt hasn't been eliminated but it has been restructured and pushed back 18 months. There will inevitably be volitility going forward but increasing revs (10's of millions per qtr) should level the playing field as the amount of shares being converted will be far less than over the previous few months. This should allow an environment where convential loans can be sourced by new management and uplisting to a higher exchange can be executed successfully this time. For me the R/S is a massive positive in the revitalisation of this company and if people have a 12 month time horizon, I believe a good ROI will be had by all. JMHO
