May 16, 2012, Mickey Drexler, CEO of J. Crew and Apple Board Member states in an article that designing a car was Steve Job's dream.

It is highly likely that Apple is way further along with this project than we know or think. Everyone is saying 2020 is when it will come out but I think it could happen sooner. it could be 2018 or 2019.

Nobody but Tim Cook, Jonny I've and Steve Zadesky knows how long this project has been developing!
