Hi DJ. There's a story to that quiz, I'll bet you didn't know that I wrote several of those questions. Years ago I received that e-mail that was going around in response to Dr. Laura's condemnation of gays. I was anonymous, and shorter. Just one of those e-mails that people forward around. I corrected the biblical references numbers which were mostly off by one verse, re-wrote several of the earlier questions, (for example, I added "Why can't I own Canadians?" to "D",) and I added questions "H", "I", and "J "which I wrote myself. Then I forwarded it (without signing it)to lots of my friends. I though that was the end of it.
Several years later I was watching an episode of West Wing, and was stunned to hear the President (Martin Sheen) repeating my words. In that episode he bumped into Dr. Laura at the White House. Everyone else got up when he entered the room, but she remained seated, which irked him. So he said something like, "Oh, and thank you so much for enlightening us on the evils of homosexuality. By the way, ......." and he starts rattling off some of the questions, including "I" and "J" which I wrote. I was so happy that my words helped slam on national TV the hypocrisy of the biblical literalists.
And in the years since, that e-mail has come back to me several times. It certainly has made the rounds!
