The Italian system is nothing more than a glorified remote control straight stick ergonomically catastrophic glasses necessary system. Regarding haptic feedback, it is one of the great misconceptions among the lay public that this feature is a game changer. Experienced robotic surgeons feel that haptic feedback is would be a nuisance at best. The reason is that the surgeons eyes more than compensate for the difference and actually provide better feedback than ones hands and arms could ever achieve.
