AND THIS, my friends, is why you dont invest in things that you do not know...15 feet from the patient is WRONG...its typically 5-10 feet and in the vast majority of situations there is an FA, PA, resident, Fellow, or Attending at the patient site during the ENTIRE procedure. I know of ONE facility where the console is outside of the room, and its a DaVinci lab specifically designed to have people in and out to watch and ask questions (proctoring). I truly do not think you know what you are invested in LTG...you dont know the field or the market well at all. The slice of the pie that Surgibot could get is so minute and growing even more minute by the day, that it's almost comical. As older surgeons are phased out and retire, you will see even less LAP surgery. The vast majority of residents now need and WANT robotic training, not lap training. I know countless new robotic attendings that have trouble with LAP procedures because they dont do them enough. You really need to get a grip bud and realize that the ceiling on Surgibot is so low compared to SPORTs.

Ok, so your source to praise this laparoscopic spider system is a plastic surgeon from Puerto Rico?.... ...that's what I thought.

Everything you just described sounds like true laparoscopic surgery... ...not Robotic MIS Surgery...

...also, it is very much in Titan's plans to bring tactile/haptic feedback to their system and it has been mentioned several times.

I see the Surgibot as a modern day example of the DeLorean... ...people thought the DeLorean looked cool (with its stainless steel body and gulf doors), but when it came time to perform it failed. Maybe Hollywood will make another "Back to the Future" movie it can star in... :-)

You got me to invest with all your sweet talking, but at an average asp of $1000, only 61 SPIDER surgeries were performed in Q3 of 2014. There WERE many surgeries performed, but if it is a good system why aren't those surgeons using it any longer?

And a better question, which has been asked multiple times: you seduce people to join you in trxc, yet won't talk on the trxc board. Why? I respond, as I'm sure do all INTERESTED parties. Let's get that board rocking! Surely one or more surgeons will be interested in a product that is awesome!

You delete any critical posts on the trxc board, yet spew against titxf over here. Why?
