Last night...
Alex Gonzalez lofted a high fly down the right field line. Williams appeared to overrun the wind-blown ball, and it bounced just inside the chalk and hopped into the stands for a ground-rule double that put runners on second and third.

Two batters later Loretta smacked a grounder into the hole. Derek Jeter dived to snare it, but the throw from his knees sailed high and up the line. First baseman Miguel Cairo jumped to catch the ball and tagged Loretta with his glove hand as he ran by, but the ball squirted away as both runners scored.

Never would have happened in 1996
