I agree that you have to look at your entry point(how low RSI5 is) when you decide % to go in.IMHO

I did know that, Nocona, thanks. The ultimately "no guts, no glory," which is why I liked the original signal with your modifications.

I get bogged down on weakening breadth and a whole host of other factors... and then don't trade. I missed a few purchases this way this year. Today looks especially ugly and I feel as though I should avoid. Yet, if not now, when? I have read that it is not unusual to get some of these ugly downdrafts in a bull market. Heck, look at Japan. Bottom line: I will take a position today.

Nocona * VTO buys

From 97 through 05 there were only 3 VTO buys (1st part) where RSI5 was less than 20. The average is good, but the trend is not. Will be interesting to see how this one plays out.
