This is not a unique situation. To assume for a moment that the situation facing GTE is original, is absurd. LOOK AROUND!

There are thousands of message boards, about thousands of stocks, with MILLIONS of shareholders...all having the SAME DEBATES! Everyone thinks their stock is a winner/loser/next Microsoft/etc...AND THEY FLAUNT IT! They bug the crap out of their IR people, respond to bashers,email "journalists", and spamm their wares all over the www.

Granted, we are here because of an interest in GTE, but to think anyone id paying attention is coo-coo!

multi .. I too read a lot here and on other boards and I have to say...THAT WAS THE BEST POST OF THE YEAR SO FAR...
There are many others that are a very close second.. JMHO
