Cubs are clearly at worst the third best team in that division. I don't share DONHUBS opinion about the cubs but lets not get nuts here they are better then the brewers and reds right now. And are probably and above 500 team at the moment, they will add a few more games to that total if they get shields. I mean everyone sees Lester, but what they don't see is adding montero and fowler those are two really good players, add that to rizzo and castro who are all stars. Then when you add in the young guys Like soler (who I think could develop into one), Baez, alcantra, and of course Bryant who is perhaps the bets hitting prospect in baseball yes he is that good and their should be no messing around he should be their starting 3b right from the get go in my opinion.
Right now I know People love the cardinals, but I like the pirates the best in that division. Mccutchen is the best player out of any of the three teams that is not debateable. Love marte and Polanco. Harision and walker are solid players. Alvarez will be better defensively at 1b, mercer is a good SS, and I think cervelli will do the job. If you ask me I perfer the pirates, because I love there OF especially Marte who nobody notices but to me I see him just like I see Yelich in the miami of. The pirates in my opinion will be a very good offensive team. And their pitching shoudl hold up enough. I like this team a ton.
