I have a question for the experts out there.

Back when we got the reworked Russian deal PR and the stock was halted by the SEC for several hours, what exactly would the SEC have looked at?

I remember thinking that the SEC looking at it gave it more credibility. Wouldn't they have done enough fact checking, at that time, to make sure that it wasn't a complete scam?
