They are depending on IP which now belongs exclusively to GTAT - per the post BK settlement and abandonment of prior contract.

You have to remember...Apple doesn't actuallymake anything. They have to rely on others to do that for them.

GT owns all of the technology, machinery and IP that Apple needs to make their idea come to fruition.

Apple either restructures the contract. Buys everything GT has to make their products (which then requires finding someone else to learn how to use it). Or, they just scrap the idea entirely.

I can definitely tell you which one of those choices it isn't!
