Newly2be... Been connected thusly for about 2 years and never turn off (well maybe when vacating house for more than couple days).

Thanks. I don't use a tablet, so I don't need the wifi going unless I want to have my laptop connected. I just wondered if it would hurt the router at all to turn it off every night when I'm done on the computer.
