Someone stated that CVX ran 13 5/8 casing on OBO-1. If true, WHY?
The only reason I can think of is so they can run two or more strings of tubing to produce two or more zones at the same time.
Need a little help on this one from the oil folks here.

Finally...someone who understands.

Were "insiders" (for the most part wherever they work and for whomever they work)to provide you with the specifics you understandably desire and are frustrated in not getting - they would run the risk of, at best, employment termination, if compromised.

I emphasize the "at best" part because it might well involve breach of covenants that could spell incarceration and perhaps worse.

Perhaps the ERHC I-Hub participants should collectively decide whether they want "these posters" to simply go away or to help, where possible, with generalities, etc. that would not jeopardize their own well being.

I, for one, would be delighted to do whatever is decided by those posters...who make sense.

Thank you for stating why a FPSO could be warranted this early in the development of Block 1. I thought it sounded way off base knowing production probably won't start for years but your statement of needing it now to test these early wells explains a lot. These kernels of knowledge make the board worthwhile. Thanks again.
