I'd venture to guess that nobody searches URL address in a search engine - why? The browser has absolutely no need for searching IF one already knows the URL. Right?

I have a great deal of web experience and I don't think I've ever heard of anyone googling web addresses. Google is a search engine for search "terms" aka Keywords; no search engine is needed to find a URL IF you already have the URL - why search for what you already know ;-)

One can just type in the URL in your browser and you're on the site.

The SEO for the company sites, both, have been recently updated and I posted an extensive post about this the last time it was brought up here on the board. Again, I have had experience building websites myself and own a few. If anyone knows that this is a process, it's likely someone that has been though the process. SEO is not calling Google and saying "put me on the first page will Ya?" It entails an incredible amount of thought and tact. Your favorite products didn't appear there on the search over night and it took a rather incredible amount of organic and technical search optimization to achieve those results. Aka time and money - neither of which guarantees any sort of results usually.

Also note: I frequently check data regarding the store and new website - *Note: traffic data can be searched. I am familiar with how and where their traffic is derived to some degree simply by analyzing the Alexa.com data and using some others tools. Did you know that the 3rd highest contributor of traffic to their corporate site is OUR POSTS FROM iHUB HERE? YES, it is US.
Products can be bought right from the iBox of this board!! And virtually any piece of material related to this company and their subsidiaries can be found without leaving your Ihub platform. Some just do not understand the amount of work it takes to get there. The ones that do the work - seldom need to be reminded of how far they've come to achieve what is "now".

I suggest that we all just google "how search engine optimization works" and then we can all be on the same page of the same book here. NO ONE can say what TAUG needs to do to optimize search because I would bet any amount of money that NO ONE has even done the research for key search terms relevant to the health and wellness industry. Basically: when you tell me they should target certain specific terms - I won't just ask why - I want physical data representing figures for those search terms, keyword utilization within the industry, statistics for each term, number of results generated per term, and so many other missing pieces and bits that no one here is willing to collect because it takes an incredible amount of research and effort and it still will do nothing to benefit any of us right now.

There has been no major marketing campaign yet and the websites are both literally out of the box new.. Last time others and I mentioned SEO - guess what happened that same week? They optimized it further and that alone was a huge improvement. I could go on and on about web, but the truth is this is just one tiny puzzle piece to a much bigger picture. When we have all the pieces, then we can expect the picture to be much more clear.

Clarity in progress.. ;-)

Have a great weekend BD and ALL!

I believe someone raised this fact to Dr. Sung, and the response was that they were going to do something about search engine optimization... I won't claim to know how much it costs, how long of a process it is, or when they plan to do it, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to remind her about it... Her email is ssung@tauriga.com.

Anyone concerned about anything should contact her.

Thats not how it works... there is a whole lot more to how its list something other then just typing in the item... I would defer this to Shrimp as he is a much more informed web master then I am
