I'll agree with you light1soldier.
VOIS stated long ago that they were attempting to build this device with standard off the shelf components to keep the costs down on the Ear Dangler. The components are part of an assembly and the assemblies can't begin until one has enough components to begin the process... of "Manufacturing" the SYNAPSE Ear Doo Dangler!

so if we are not suppose to be in the "manufacturing phase" at this point, what shall we say the company that is building the components are doing.....farting around for a paycheck?
With the components already finished then it might be more like 8 weeks than 12 for completion. To me 8 weeks still seems like an awful long time to assemble, test and package 5000 units.
