LQMT very much exists. Sales - not as far as we know.

The Visser debacle set LQMT back - significantly - while VPC got to run manufacturing for two years and LQMT had to reinvent the wheel and find customers where VPC had not already approached them.

No one controls LQMT, except those owning loads and loads of shares.

MTRN is interested in sales channels that satisfy Gabelli's funds (who own loads of shares) and other funds and that are established sales channels. I don't think MTRN is helping push sales for LQMT as much as they'd like. That part is more than my opinion, but fwiw.

As for conspiracy theories, understandably nutty as it sounds, I do believe LQMT people (person) are here. The "VPC employees" comment was a very, very interesting one. That's all I'm going to say about that...

I don't think anyone can deny that 2015 is a make or break year for them.

I think you are nearer to the truth than some of the other folks who take the time to post on this message board. My hat is off to you for making the effort to fill the vacuum that exists in and around this organization.

I'm not knowledgable enough to know how (or if) the kind of situation you describe exists anywhere in the business world .. if so, it sounds a little far fetched if not illegal. I am however very suspicious and curious about the construction of LQMT's workforce. I'd love to know who they are, what they earn and how they contribute to the overall mission of the company. BTW, is there a mission ?

I'd also comment that your theory does not address the role of the Board of Directors in this scenerio .... I've often worndered why are they compensated and what they add to the equation.

To bad that the LQMT situation is such small potatoes .... no investigative journalist would ever take the time to dig into the matter. it's probably not very interesting to the rest of the world anyhow.

I suspect the more likely situation is that LQMT is a product that cannot be marketed by the people in charge of the company .... most are simply not motivated to make a go of it all and others lack the knowledge to make it all work.

Interesting theory....just two questions.

- what is the X material that materion would be protecting against BMG's as a whole?

- perhaps some of your thoughts could be put to the test via conversation with people like Vidal, Yurko (who used to be at Buhler) or Grampa on why adoption of the alloy has been slow?

I can in peace this time, since I like conspiracy theories.
