First, great news on your Bill of Health. My father still has to have blood tests performed every 6 months.

Now onto what you wrote. What I find disconcerting is the information which I highlighted. The reason is that I thought Bavituximabs rise to fame will be based on it is SAFETY history.

Just reading what you wrote, it sounds like the Dr. probably has never heard of Bavituximab.

The immu space was an exciting place a few years back and is crowded now and where they think it's major impact is in Melanoma the discouraging/disappointment has been for them is the toxicity issue as the system revs up the healthy organs get very lethal dose of toxicity that cause damage and even death. The monies that have been brought in to the big pharma from the few companies that have got approval for the immu's has given them the power to try them in a lot of indications as we have seen lately and he made it very clear that everyone thinks they will be the cure for cancer and but that is not the truth and that radiation and chemotherapy will be the standard with surgery and the immu's will help extend life in most cases and of ourse I think we all see that everyday and is a point of most discussions the extension of life.
