I've given up on Southwest with respect to the likelihood of my making a significant 'quick buck' on its timely acquisition of a software-related company. If such an acquisition can't happen when oil is beneath $50 per brl, then it's not going to ever happen.
That being said, Southwest is still a very excellent investment for the long term ... and I wish them good fortune in that respect.
