#37081 RE: Portguyofva #37080

Portguy, thanks for the extra color here. Just for napkin math, I figure that, at avg of $250k per simulator, they would need to sell 96 a year to hit $24M in gross revenues (there may be price discounts for the L.A. County Sheriff dept, for instance, if they purchase a few systems, not just one). I don't know how to price the warranties, up-grade packages, etc. I'm also not including foreign sales, with partner Beretta obviously getting a cut of the profits.

But if, say, $4M of that $10.68M (record number) of sales & purchase agreements in Q3 gets booked for Q4, then VTSI makes $10.2M in revenues for full-year 2014. Q1 2015 should see a LOT MORE booked.

I can see with the amazing public-growth profile for VirTra (e.g., the L.A. County Sheriff dept purchase) and the politicizing of the unfortunate police episodes this year (primarily the Ferguson, MO case), VTSI might double their revenues in 2015 from 2014 total, even increase them 150% if sales really took off internationally--and that would get VirTra to $25.5M in revenues.

It's fun dreaming of the possibilities, anyway.
But i would think that VirTra's sales force now has a lot of tailwinds in the form of prior purchases, glowing testimonials, etc etc.
