I dont agree with the sentiment of this post

YOUR DEFINITION of DILUTION seems to be very strict in my opinion,

if a company has 1,000,000 shares
and now they add 1 share to their float

OF COURSE - YES - that is dilution, I agree

the change was from 1,000,000 shares to 1,000,001,
so they diluted 1 share - so I cant argue with that fact - that even adding 1 share - technically by definition is considered dilution

whether restricted or not - you are right - there is 1 extra share now - and if you want to cry out DILUTION!!!!! with multiple explanation points behind it, so be it - cry out dilution

but in many other people's definition of DILUTION - it is not as strict, in my opinion

I see INCC and they added additional restricted shares

Restricted shares are either 6 months or 1 year. So depending on who, shares could start hitting from now until June I believe. Now thee are ways around that also. If someone was given restricted shares say three years ago but never cashed them in and then they were given to someone else last year, the original date may come into play.
