I compared it to the 6lb version of Bisquick. After you add the liquid and eggs it is significantly more than BB, by weight... Maybe its not 1000%, but its closer to it than being even... the limited shelf life also add the cost imo. If you dont eat it fast, you lose money.

Regardless of you buying gluten free, it is still a very small Market. Most people buy the regular brands. They sell a ton of the regular Bisquick in the large box. The majority of people don't care, especially after looking at the price difference.

If people are serious health nuts, I dont see them buying Nates due to having preservatives, while the dry mixes do not. This counters the gluten free aspect. Most health nuts are not concerned with convenience over quality/health, they take the time to use whole ingredients over prepared crap bloated with preservatives... They should just stick to the cheaper ingredients and make a healthier margin for investors. The type of consumer that would buy this type product is not health conscience imo. i dont see this product being in Whole Foods, etc.
