Biowreck...my understanding is that most , if not all , generics are Tier 1

Managed care will push you onto generics if possible ...example , generic Lipitor instead of Crestor ( which is non generic )

Generic is default tier 1... Even if it's more expensive and less effective.... Amarin should come out with a "generic" formulation of Vascepa.

Lowering the price is not going to effect tier level..Vascepa cash price is lower than Lovaza. Tier 1 is only available for generics. Actually Vascepa might be better off if it went generic (just specing).
