i kinda get the impression it isn't personal so much as that the share price tracks cash flow.

as cash trickles away in the absence of sales, the treasury dwindles and the price anticipates further dilution. i daresay computer programs resolve the market price between themselves and individual traders have little to do with it. except to offer an opportunity for the machines to make their 1/16th of a penny.
