Does Nestlé work with start-ups, "the answer=YES"! Some have asked, why would Nestlé work with and license Level 5's Vitamin Creamer! The questions have been around why not do it themselves or why use a start-up like Level 5.

The answer is because that is what they do, it is part of their published Research & Development strategy! See the R&D strategy outlined below!

While Minerco has been around a while and has changed there core business strategy, Level 5 can be considered a startup company just now officially launching VitaminFIZZ a few months ago.

Replying to and adding this R&D information to the Vitamin Creamer DD posted on the Nestlé or Dean Foods_Whitewave-International Delights Coffee Creamers potential opportunities in this link. http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=109260987.

It is a valid question, why would Nestlé, with a market capitalization of US $233 billion want to partner / license Vitamin Creamer a start-up brand. We now know there is a solid and published answer from Nestlé, its in their DNA, their R&D, not just speculation on the answer. IMO, it is also in part the reason they are as big and as successful as they are. Look at most successful companies, they don't try to create everything themselves!

I'm impressed that Level 5 has already been working with an industry giant like Nestlé, listed No. 1 in the Fortune Global 500 as the world’s most profitable corporation. Nestlé ranked No. 9 in the FT Global 500 2013.[8] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nestl%C3%A9. Also WhiteWave, a $2 billion dollar division of Dean Foods, that in and of itself speaks volumes!

Conference Call Transcript

The Coffee Boost, which we feel is extremely promising, can be paired with another brand we're in negotiation with right now. It's a brand that Nestlé is currently testing, and WhiteWave, which is a part of Dean Foods—it's a $2 billion division of Dean Foods, Silk soy milk, and International Delight coffee creamers—they're busy testing one of the derivatives of Coffee Boost, its intellectual property we've acquired from a third party, which would be a breakthrough in the coffee creamer industry. http://www.minercoresources.com/news.php?p=55

Q: Are there any updates on Vitamin Creamer® or The Herbal Collection™?
A: Vitamin Creamer® and The Herbal Collection™ will have significant progress to report in early 2015. In line with our philosophy, we will report any updates after they happen. http://www.minercoresources.com/news.php?p=103

With all the irons in the fire for $MINE, if Nestlé and/or WhiteWave / Dean Foods licenses Vitamin Creamer, I'm glad I'm not sitting on the sidelines trying to get shares when or if this news if PR'd!

Nestlé's R&D strategy

Research and Development is a key competitive advantage for Nestlé. Without our R&D Nestlé could not have become the food industry leader in nutrition, health and wellness.

With 29 research, development and technology facilities worldwide , Nestlé has the largest R&D network of any food company. Nestlé’s research, development and technology network, together with local market application groups, employs over 5,000 people.

Nestlé further strengthens its R&D capability through Innovation Partnerships at each stage of the product development process – from early stage collaborations with start up and biotech companies to late stage partnerships with its key suppliers. (note there are examples of Nestlé licensing deals at the bottom of this post http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=109260987 )

By bringing together all of its global R&D resources, Nestlé is able to provide high quality, safe food solutions for consumers worldwide – whether this is in terms of nutrition, health, wellness, taste, texture or convenience. Above all, Nestlé brings to consumers products that are of the highest quality. And safety is non-negotiable.

R&D is also critical in ensuring regulatory compliance of all Nestlé products. Nestlé is able to launch new products quickly and efficiently, in countries all over the world, by integrating regulatory affairs in all its R&D activities, from start to finish.

Nestlé scientists also play their part in communicating the health and wellness benefits of products to consumers. Nestlé nutritionists world-wide work to ensure that all nutrition communication, both on and off pack, is locally relevant, as well as scientifically sound.

Beyond sound nutrition, the future of foods will increasingly be driven by science. Nestlé scientists are looking ahead to the foods of the future. Nestlé R&D is translating nutrition and food science in two ways:

From consumer needs into research priorities
From emerging science into consumer benefits, and services.

The vision of Nestlé R&D is long term. A glimpse of how Nestlé R&D is helping to shape the future of foods is provided through these internet pages.
