Yeah, I've seen them and like them. And they are always a possibility. And I'm sure that I will use some of the techniques that Mike Reynolds (the garbage warrior) uses.
I probably will have to live in the city. I saw one that had a gas stove. While I probably like a gas stove better, unless I have a has well on the property, it's not off grid... :-)

I've looked into this. The only problem I'm finding is energy storage.

Batteries work, but they go bad, and get expensive when you factor in replacement costs.
