I think you misunderstand Xena's meaning. She's talking about the value of the company, not it's cash reserves. Intellectual Property has a monetary value, both in the revenue that it can produce for the company, and in the value that it would be worth if sold to someone else. GTAT has some seriously valuable IP, and I believe Xena's point is that this IP places GTAT in a positive value position.
