My belief is that Vascepa doesn't necessarily provide immediate results.Some people want a quick fix,so they quit taking it.We know that over time the benefits are there.Other patients probably have the false belief that OTC fish oil is a viable substitute.Othe patients are probably on several drugs and can't afford all of them.So,they drop the "fish oil".Finally,some doctors don't give it a chance before switching to another drug.They need to be educated.
