No Joey, what tdtcal states is a hundred percent correct. The actual dollar amount Mantra received is not a large amount of money.
It just a statement of the obvious.

But what he fails to follow up on is that receiving a grant is not just about the money. Also involved is that the group offering the grant in this case the Canada government has faith in what you are working on.

Also not only do you receive money just for someone having faith in your product you also receive recognition for your work. This opens doors for your company that previously you may never had access before. Instead of you seeking out partners, partners seek you out.

So yes the dollar amount is relatively small, but the acknowledgement of your work and recognition it brings you is priceless.
