I think the 2 business models need seperated. If I wanted to fund INDs I want to know all my money is going to that effort and that I have control over it. Better to do that with seperate entity versus convoluted with SVFC. Plus spin offs get investors excited...

Other notes:

I find the Ray Hill PR interesting. A huge private equity firm taps him for BOD job. Plus it no longer looks like he has a full time position, rather BOD roles... Anyone need a seasoned leader???
