#11345 RE: jgbuz #11344

jgbuz - thanks for the kudos. I have a lot more thoughts on this topic - would probably bore some to death:) Your openmindedness at work is a very valuable gift. It means your ego is in check and you understand that everyone benefits from listening to new ways to get things done. Fresh eyes are always a blessing and you are right - a good leader must recognize the need for change. Sometimes we are sure that we are doing the right thing - and can not understand why we do not get better results. It can often mean just tweaking your approach only slightly and you are off- sometimes it means scraping everything you are doing and taking a completely different approach.

Point is - good leaders know their strengths, weaknesses and limits. They find others to fill in the gaps - ACES IN THEIR PLACES - if you will. My take home point with this is that Tom is an inventor, an engineer. They don't always make the best CEO's or COO's... The visionairy is normally not strong at growing the business. They build the car - but need a professional to drive it...

Have a good Sunday...

PS - Hope you see now why I am was dissapointed in the lack of progress that has occurred over the last almost 3 years. They had the product and it should have been a no-brainer for even a mediocre team to drive it to market..... There is no doubt I am critical of their performance from a perspective that I know it could have been done...
