Thanks, golferman. I totally forgot about Merck (not the American company) and our Sigma-Aldrich. For some reason, that merger slipped my mind.

You think that KBLB is somehow involved in this merger? I just wonder what the particulars are.

Is it possible that Merck could actually buyout KBLB? I have said this a million times before, but someone will buy us out at some point in the future. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind about that.

"The SEC also requires the disclosure of any material business dealings between the company and its directors and outside counsel."

"Material" is defined by kim...and in any case , its not material until it happens...negotiations are not "material"...

"Yes it is my understanding that if there are outside negotiations on going that may effect the Business plan moving forward the S-1 would not be made effect till they are finalized. "

To put it simply...wrong
In larger companies there are constantly outside negotiations on going that "May effect the business plan" in one form or another...they do not stop the company from proceeding with their business...

If that were true, very little would get done...

The sec's concern is about info that can unfairly affect the company's stock...tell all or tell no one...

The s-1 has been announced...its been filed...its out there...why would that now suddenly be a issue with merck buying sigma?...

Especially given that the s-1 was announced AFTER the merck/ sigma deal?....
