BlueFoxx, this is a great synopsis and thank you. This does make sense and could end up being correct. I have NEVER had any doubts on WMIH being extremely successful. I have been writing about this well before the "Effective Date" of March 19, 2012. I have always said follow the BIG money players and one will generally be well rewarded.

I used to talk about our Little Golden Goose called WMIH, but once I started research and following the escrow share issue, I backed off of WMIH because I knew two things. One, WMIH would take a long time and two, I was NEVER worried about it becoming LARGELY successful. I have just continued to accumulate WMIH since I was issued escrow shares and WMIH shares in conversion.

You seem to think that I am not interested in WMIH and that could not be further from the truth, rather, I already have an amount of shares that will be far more than life changing. I have been focused on escrow shares because IMHO, there will be a very LARGE amount of wealth coming to escrow shares and that may start simultaneously with WMIH capitalization or very close. Many things have to happen in the travesty still and I believe that many of these actions may happen at one time or very close to one another.

These issues include the "post to close" for the official ending of the bankruptcy case, working tranches five/six which have claims listed as assets, AT&T claims, Executive Employee claims that IMHO CANNOT be deposed, court registry accounts, reconciliation of the now expired P&AA with JPM/FDIC and then of course, WMIH capitalization.

My thoughts have been and will continue to be, if there is value whether small or large coming back to WMIH and we know JPM did not get everything, why would WMIH capitalize themselves ahead of this value coming back? This value would be non dilutive, so it would seem they would want to make WMIH be as large as possible before any capitalization.

It could also be, we may not need to do any merger right away depending on what is coming back value wise. IMHO, this is all so tied directly together that many of these actions may happen simultaneous or very close to that. This is due to WMIH being a public traded company and anything that goes to WMILT, 2/1/2% percent of this MAY go to WMIH which then would require and 8K (material event) filing. One has to think what effect all of this would have and do not forget public perception along with an explanation of a possible HUGE rise in the equity of a penny stock company called WMIH.

Have I told you lately how much I love my escrow shares?[/b]

Good effort Don. I like the date 01/01/15.

The current daily trading of WMIH is the real thing, but I think nothing good will come to WMIH until M&A happens. At that time investors will have to rely on all of their accumulated knowledge and ability to make good decisions. If WMIH is not uplisted, it will be tragic for us in that the BOD can keep us in the dark forever.

Don,

Thank you for an excellent post. The logic behind it is very sound and it makes perfect sense.

In the mid 1990's I had some employee stock options which are somewhat similar to the warrants. This is exactly how I was taxed: the price of the stock on the date of exercise MINUS the (strike) price at which the warrant is exercisable. With KKR as you described this would be 1.38.

I am sure they could have brought down the price to 1.40, but this would look terribly fishy to tax people.

Nice write-up. Thanks Blue. I agree and had a target of 1Q 2015 (I was not specific to Jan, but sometime in 1Q). I have been adding under $2.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Best JW
