FishyFinger, should be entertaining to watch you get sliced and diced by JL over claims inflammation does not cause CVD - So what do you think caused a 53% drop in events in JELIS cohort? Lower LLD-C? lol

My guess is the cell wall matrix is damaged by our high intake of highly inflammatory Omega-6 and what ever else comes in a box from the supermarket.

Thus an agent causing inflammation and damage to the cell matrix would be the cause. A simple non scientific description of what may happen!

So my guess it is inflammation that is causing the problem. No other source!

CVD is caused by inflammation"
Incorrect.
Inflammation is a symptom of the disease. It is not the cause.

Wrong - the path is:

underlying cause (a host of them) ===> inflammation ===> CVD

It's not:

underlying cause (a host of them) ===> CVD

IOW:

A -> B -> C, not A -> C
