Have a look at the slides from R.James about mobile, storage and IoT. Slide 35 shows ASP range and average ASP of the various market segments. In mobile, average is 15$ with the upper range to 30$, our estimations so far were pretty accurate. Good work from this board! The average ASP of IoT is 1$, which is not kind of the market I see Intel making big money at. I really wonder what those 2 billion revenue from IoT actually consist of. Did they include embedded industry platforms using low end x86 CPUs? It would really be interesting to have a breakdown here.

On slide 49 of the same presentation, you can find information about the Intel/Micron joint venture. That seems to be very much alive. There's scarce information about this whereas I think it is very important for both, Micron and Intel, since they can joint their efforts and reuse the technology developed for both, memory and logic processes. 3D Nand is mentioned as "in the market with disruptive cost in 2015" - sounds very promising and this way, Intel has access to this technology just as Samsung does. They can also join their forces for packaging and closely coupled memories, needed for mobile success and high speed PCs/servers. This is a really good team and Micron has the financials now to be a partner at the same level. 3 billion capex from Micron this year isn't too pale either. Together they can easily outspend Samsung and both profit from the technology improvements.
