#8547 RE: ANESRI #8541

Hi Anesri....although you have not been as active on the IHUB board as you were over the last couple of years, your many past post and research have been much appreciated. Even though I was not an active posted back then, some days you were the only one posting. I have read many of yours and learned much.
I guess I'm trying to make clear something I've believed for many years...that the hemopurifier alone can be a cure for many infectious viral diseases for many patients, maybe not all... but many of them. JJ is always careful in stating "adjunct therapy to drugs" and "without additional drug regimens or additional toxicity". I think this is just his strategy to co-exist and not alert pharma and not be too extreme with the FDA":
Since I didn't know the height, weight of the patient I just used the expected 5000ml blood volume for someone like me 200lbs, 6'2". The patient would not have been as dehydrated as might be expected. He would have been given several liters of IV saline/day and it may actually have been a little diluting not just to red cell count but virus per ml of blood. Without constant IVs I would think his viral count per ml may even be a little higher before and after.
I'm not sure either about the viral count because it is being reported in 1 ml of blood by JJ and in 1 cc (1 ml)plasma by Geiger. . And if only reported in plasma, is it just the resulting plasma from a ml of blood?
Either way the ratios stay the same, even if total body viral count is off.
BTW...it would also help if Frankfurt reported the viral load over the 12 days before HP treatment when they tried other drugs anti-viral or other, just to see if his viral count was rising up until HP treatment. This would also help to convince skeptics. 400,000/ml is high but there are reports that ebola viral has gone as high as 1,000,000/ml.
