It is possible that there is more to the Moskowitz situation.

Based on the lack of prison sentence for the biggest fraud in the history of microcaps, it is possible that Moskowitz ratted out colleagues regarded as a much higher priority than to jail a fat dumb ass from Queens. Maybe mobsters, drug cartel or terrorist types.

We will find out if Moskowitz is sent to the witness protection program

This fiasco happened on Loretta Lynch's watch. The hard drive mismanagement led to a $100 fine for Metter. Moscowitz wore a wire, but any agreement should have been contingent on this effort paying off - either with a conviction for Metter or at least some leads in locating the proceeds from the scam. Instead, he gets off with probation.

Failure to successfully prosecute either of these swindlers SHOULD result in Loretta Lynch NOT being confirmed to replace Eric Holder, but of course this "minor issue" will never even be raised in her confirmation hearings.

I think I'll write a letter to Sen. Hatch about this. Need to refresh myself on the more important points first, though. Two points here: 1) I don't think the Lynch nomination is going to be hurried through, and 2) If anyone will look into this it would be Orin Hatch.
