Maybe but it just seems unlikely to me now. I think there are two possibilities here, either Joe didn't do enough DD to recognize that this is a big scam, or the tech is impressive enough for him to put up with these clowns.
I'm hoping for the latter but who knows, Joe's affiliated with lots of companies, having one fall through isn't really a big deal for him.
