If Monday is anything like Friday there will probably be alot of eager buyers for your shares.

I know you are disappointed by your losses. If you are wrong again you are opening yourself up to the possibility of some serious loss. In my opinion anyway.

I don't follow how the wash-sale rule is implicated by the proximity of a short sale to an ordinary sale.

I sold 32000 shares today for .74 I am not a degenerate gambler that would let $24,000 ride on a 1,000,000,000 / 1 shot at making back the $100,000 I already lost

I think you're on to something! Then again, with the strength Wave was showing on Friday, selling at $.74 was just plain foolish! Wave was up only 4 cents on extremely heavy volume and you ran to the exit as if there was a fire! Perhaps you should of held a little longer, although you did better than Cosmo. Perhaps investing isn't your strong suit. I'm thinking that perhaps I might like to buy a few of shares you short. Short the opening if there is weakness, I suggest. You'll probably catch the low! You seem to be on a roll. BTW, a true degenerate gambler chases lost money, look in the mirror before shorting, or not! LOL

"I'm going short first thing tomorrow
Just checked with gainskeeper & the wash sale consequences for me on the 32000 shares I sold is only $7,500; which means I can't write off that $7,000 to save 3 or 4 thousand
I reckon if I get in first thing & short 32,000 shares I will be up about $.30 by friday. $.20 of this is lost to the wash sale I will still be up $3200 by friday"
