Longs have additional positive outcomes as part of their bet.The possibility that GT & Apple can come to an amicable new agreement that either (A) precludes the need to continue the Chap 11,or (B) a deal that generates enough additional revenue to negate any restructuring of the common shares.There are quite a few other positive possibilities,such as ,It may only be necessary to free GTAT(Q) from the burden of it's contracts with Apple,to enable GTAT(Q) to emerge intact and able to handle existing liabilities with no further action from the court.At the moment,I believe that the odds favor the longs(including the large institutions who hold most of the common shares and are not likely to go down without a fight.Very unlike the situation if GTAT(Q) had been an OTC stock pre BK,with only small shareholders rather than a Nasdaq stock.We will just have to wait and see. And,yes indeed,GLTA.
