Family of four. No health issues. Not a penny until deductible met, but with ACA we at least get our annual well checks for "free"! But I don't sweat it. Every time I need to go to the doctor I just give them a few of my Amarin share certificates and tell them they're worth $30 each and not a penny less!
The deductibles sound outrages, my BC/BS are $500 Hospital deductible per person than %20 for the remainder so not bad, this was the least coverage plan out of two choices I had, they cover Vascepa $40 copay. ER $250 Deductible. Physician/specialist $35 per visit. I ran the numbers the lesser plan was the best for a relatively healthy family. I don't think BC/BS will be making much from my plan this year. They made a pretty good profit last year and year before.
