CEO's can very easily tell by the tone of any communications sent to them who is for their company or against it. Wouldn't you agree?

Best of all is this - if you email a company through its website, the website will automatically record your IP address along with the communication you send them. So they know where to find you. You cannot stop your IP address being recorded except by staying away. If you email the company directly from your email account, your IP address is also automatically recorded in the source code of the email when you send it. Once again - you cannot stop this happening.

Others just short stocks and trade on the psychology of fear in getting people to sell as news is waited for.

So maybe if you ask the CEO the right question in the right way, he will answer you. If not, it doesn't matter, as they now know where you find you!
