I agree. Here in KC there was a rumble about that he should have been sent to force the D. You wouldn't have been forcing anything. They could have made a poor throw and Posey could have fumbled the ball and he would have still been out. Sending him in that situation, you have about a 5% chance of success(had he been further along I would agree with sending him). Even with Madbum pitching you have at bare minimum a 20% chance with Perez at the plate.
