I wasn't referring to past players as a comparison. I was trying to impart that I was spoiled with a bunch of past champions.

The "WANTING" of a championship can be a major factor for both players and fans that have not experienced the phenomenon in a while.

Apparently, I was not clear enough. And, apparently, my point is moot.
